ST Microcontrollers

STMicroelectronics provides a comprehensive portfolio of robust 8-bit microcontrollers and high-performance 32-bit ARM-based microcontrollers with a wide range of peripherals. Extensive support through a combination of flexible and powerful development tools, training courses, consultancy and web support, facilitate faster time to market.

Device Description
The ST6 family is optimized for low to midrange 8-bit embedded control applications which are often subject to two conflicting requirements: obtaining both high noise immunity and low overall system cost.
The ST7 core is based on an industry-standard 8-bit architecture, extended by STMicroelectronics to improve support for high level language programming and to provide additional interrupt handling features.
uPSD is a family of 8-bit microcontrollers built on an 8032 microcontroller core. uPSD features a flexible memory structure, programmable logic, and rich peripheral set that includes devices with USB and JTAG debug/emulation.
The ST10 architecture is a 16-bit instruction word CMOS microcontroller with 4-stage pipeline. Clocked at 40MHz, it executes speed critical routines, so instructions typically execute in 50ns.
The STR7 microcontrollers are a range of ARM7™ based microcontrollers made by ST. Being a long-time partner of ARM inc., ST has over 4 years experience in building ARM-based products for ASIC and application-specific circuits.
STMicroelectronics brings the power of an ARM9E processor core to the world of general purpose Flash microcontrollers, opening endless opportunities to embedded system designers by making networking and other demanding applications easy and affordable.
